These prices are effective as of January 1, 2014 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.

Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff                                                      $1,295.00

Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff included, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for services; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notice; processing of life insurance claims, and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., clergy, musicians, cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings, inventory costs, record keeping and secretarial and administrative expenses.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding or receiving remains).

Embalming                                                                                                                    $810.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Our charge for direct cremation without any attended rites or ceremonies includes transfer of the deceased, (from Grant Co.), standard crematory charge*, temporary urn, and filing of the death certificate.
If you wish to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard and composite materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are fiberboard boxes.

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home                                                    $1,995.00

This charge includes transfer of remains, (inside Grant co.) services of funeral director and staff, basic use of facilities, embalming, necessary authorizations, minimum shipping container and transportation to Indianapolis/Fort Wayne Airport. This charge does not include visitation, funeral ceremony, or shipping charges.

Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home                                                   $1,695.00

This charge includes pick-up of casketed remains at nearest airport, transportation of remains to cemetery and basic services of staff. This charge does not include visitation, rites, or ceremonies.
