Obituary of Eldon P. Weaver

Eldon P. Weaver November 11, 1926 ~ October 11, 2017 Eldon P. Weaver, 90, Gas City, died at 11:02 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in his home. He was born in Grant County to the late Russell L. and Nora Alta (Shockey) Weaver. On November 27, 1970, Eldon married Mary E. Yates. She survives. Eldon was a 1966 US Air Force veteran retiree who had served in every branch of the military and was a longtime member of the VFW. He was a nursing assistant at the Marion VA for over 12 years. Eldon enjoyed caring for his home and especially tending to his yard. In addition to his wife, Eldon is survived by a brother, Charles E. (Juanita J.) Weaver; sister, Judith (late Robert) DeLaporte; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Loren Weaver; and sister, Lorene Paul.
